Yellowstone Quilt Workshop
The excitement for Yellowstone Season 5b is growing! Join us in making our version of “Beth's Quilt”. Ours is a generous size, 63.5" x 76". A perfect lap quilt for two!
Whether you are a new or experienced quilter, come and sew with fellow fans as we create this beautiful On Point Quilt top. You are most welcome to wear your favourite “Yellowstone Outfit”. Episodes of Yellowstone will be playing in the background while we sew. Sewing experience is necessary or having completed our Sewing Basics 1.
Week 1 – We will discuss accurate cutting, piecing and pressing as you begin your blocks
Week 2 – Tips and techniques for side and corner setting blocks
Week 3 – On Point Layout and piecing the quilt top.
You will have plenty of time to finish this quilt before Christmas if you want to give it to a Yellowstone Fan.
If you would like help with quilting and binding your quilt, please sign up for our Machine Quilting, Free Motion Quilting or Binding classes following the Yellowstone session.
You will need to bring to class:
Rotary cutter
6" x 24" or 6.5" x 24" ruler
Seam Ripper
Coordinating thread
The pattern is included in the cost of the class. Fabrics, thread, batting and backing is NOT included.
You will receive a 20% discount on the supplies you purchase for this class at The Sewing Cafe.
Homework must be done between classes. If you do not have access to a sewing machine, you can book time in our classroom for $15 per hour.
