Come join us for 2 sessions where we will demystify paper piecing by making 2 figures for "The Whale and I Quilt” by Jennifer Sampou.  

During the first session, we will delve into fabric selection and technique as you work on one of your choices of the Swimmer, The Mermaid or the Diver.

In the second class, we will take on the more complex Whale and we learn to join multiple paper pieced sections.

Once you see how easy and fun it is to paper piece, you will easily be able to transfer your new skills to future paper piecing projects.

We will provide the sewing machines, paper and assorted scrap fabrics. Included in the class fee is "Add a Quarter Ruler".

Please bring a basic sewing kit and if you have any particular fabric scraps you wish you use. 

Note: Quilt background fabrics are not included.
